I can’t speak highly enough of the children’s classes at the studio - The Teacher have them absolutely engaged throughout and the kids love it!

I am going to miss our sessions Annya Bandstra .You have a long career as a pottery teacher ahead of you. You are s passionate, attentive and patient. Thank you for introducing me to a beautiful, mindful form of art.

The workshop was very relaxed in a quaint setting. Annya Bandstra is very patient, gentle and encouraging in her instructions, making a beginner feel comfortable to explore their creativity and not worry about making mistakes. She encourages her class to try and try again. Strongly recommend her workshops!

The kids pottery workshops are fantastic as my 3 little kids gets really excited to revisit 'Teacher Annya Bandstra' at the studio. It's great that they gets to create functional pieces that they can use on a daily basis or tiny figurines to add to theri toy collection. It has given them a creative outlet to make items from start to finish and feel thrilled every time they play with them...always puts a smile on my face!

Attending the workshop was a very interesting experience. Working with clay helps to calm myself down and to relieve some stress with the touch of earth. Balancing is very important when working with clay using the wheel. It resembles the balance present in life - you can shape your life to what you want it to be if you have control over balance. I enjoyed myself thoroughly. Thank you for the experience!

I have to give a huge shout out to Annya Banstra of The Clay House! I started her Thursday evening class and it has been an amazing experience! She is so skilled and knowledgeable about her craft. She lets you guide your work and let your creative juices flow!!! She supplies plenty of high quality clay (I was worried as I have done pottery at another place and the clay cut my hands) that feels so nice to touch! She makes the evening interesting! I am three weeks in and the things I have created so far are far beyond what I would have imagined! If you are looking for a relaxing evening trying something new and getting your creativity flowing, Annya Bandstra’s classes will not disappoint!"
