Pottery Wheel Throwing
(Trial Class)
Wheel throwing uses the electric pottery wheel. Your foot presses on the automated pedal to control the speed of the spinning wheel. Wheel throwing requires coordination of foot and hands.
You can get your first taste of ceramics here with the guidance of our experienced teachers. This is a one-off session, for you to experience the challenging electric wheel at our studio.

Handbuilding uses the manual spinning wheel, we call this 'the banding wheel'.
Want to find out if you enjoy the process of moulding clay with your bare hands?
Our experienced teacher(s) will guide you to make creative clay artworks. You will use one hand to spin the wheel, and then shape and mould your piece. This is a one-off session, for you to be relaxed and creative on the manual spinning wheel at our studio.
Regular Classes
Our regular classes are held daily and cater to different students at different skill levels. From curious beginners wanting to learn the foundation of ceramics or seasoned potters looking to further develop their craft, we provide various regular classes to anyone interested to hone their skills here in Barcelona.
Group/Corporate Workshops
Our private workshops are excellent opportunities for friends get-togethers, co-workers/corporate events, team-building, etc., suitable for groups of all ages. Have a novel and fun time creating your own handmade ceramic pieces.
Kids' Pottery workshops
.The children love creating and exploring, and they love working with their hands. Pottery crafts are a way for kids to literally wrap their hands around 3 dimensional project, and pottery classes for kids help them to both have more fun and learn something in the progress. Glazing Class
The glazing class at the clay house Studio is for participants who have participated in our pottery workshops and wish to paint and glaze their own artwork. We offer a range of glazes for you to choose from ~~

Want something slow-paced and relaxing? And decorate your own personalised mug from scratch? The 2-hour class is suitable for everyone, from 3 to 100 years old! Decorate a unique functional cup/mug with all your personal elements. We provide a pre-formed cylinder and teacher's instruction, and you express your creativity and flare.

family bonding workshop
Want to share creative moments with your family, son, daughter? The Clay House organizes ceramic, modelling and glazing classes, especially for parent/child duos. You will be able to work closely together and create one or each an art piece and have a lot of fun together in doing so.
Paint and wine
How it works?
Create→ First Firing→Glaze→Final Firing→Collect
This is a workshop consisting of two sessions where we walk you through three different hand-building techniques for you to create your piece accompanied by a glass of wine. When finished, your work will be placed in the kiln for its first round of firing. Once ready, you come back in two weeks for the glazing while enjoying another glass of wine during the process. Once glazed, we place it back into the kiln for its second round of firing and two weeks later you get to come and collect your finished piece!
We are only able to keep your work on our shelves for 1 month at the longest as we need to make sure there is enough space for new students' work.
